Ibn Abû Shaybah's Compilation
It is a compilation of Hadîth narrations, arranged according to Fiqhî categories, judging whether Hadîths are Marfû`, Mawqûf, Maqtû`, or Mursal. Fatwas of the Companions and the Tabi`îs (Companions' successors) are also provided, which represents a treasure for a Hadîth scholar or a Faqîh. Moreover, Sahîh books and books of Sunan are added and arranged based on Fiqhî categories, but only Marfû` Hadîths are documented. However, other hadîths are mentioned only as citations, and are not considered basic material. |
